My Story

I have an engineer's mind and an artist's heart.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (2011) and am a Certified Professional Photographer (2015).
I have over 15 years of practical experience in multiple disciplines.

I also have an Ocean Engineering Degree from the United States Naval Academy.
After graduation I served 6 years on active duty as a Navy Deep Sea Diver.

I am proud to say my company is a female veteran-owned, small business.

At my core, I am a storyteller

After my time in the Navy, I started working as a professional freelance photographer.

It's now been over 15 years - and I'm still fascinated by capturing authentic moments that tell a unique story.

I started out as a sports photographer before transitioning into wedding and event photography. The transition seemed natural as weddings hold all of the mystery, awe, action, emotions, and intricate details I loved in sports. One huge added bonus is that weddings have no mud!

Some of my previous work includes action, event, and publication photography for the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, Babe Ruth Museum, Reebok, Charleston RiverDogs, Savannah State University, University of Memphis, United States Naval Academy as well as many other sporting organizations.

I have had the honor of my images being published in both local and national platforms - including the New York Times in 2021!

I am currently home based in Annapolis, Maryland.
